Resumo de The Dream - Kelvin Monye (Me)

The story evoles around a young boy, smart and quick to solving problems, his name is Edward. His father was a heavy smoker and a drinker. this brought a lot of problems for him and the family. He eventually lost his job. Luckily for him, he met a pastor, who turned his life around, but in a way it was already too late.
His mum now was the only one with a job, but she started coming very late from work. Edward and his father were actually worried and for his father he was upset. on one evening that she arrived late from work, his fahter questioned her where abouts. instead of arriving at a solutions, but parents brought ina quarrel.
The next day Edward rushes to school, hoping to forget all that happened at home. His best friend was Sam, a lazy, talkactive and game loving student. Attending classes and doing assignments were the last on his mind. On several occasions, Edward helped Sam out of trouble with his teachers.Though Edward was worried, it was difficult to change Sam.
As a boy, he had crushes. The girl of his dreams. Beautiful, long haired, beautifully toned skin and a voice he only could hear. he had dreams of talking to her and actually making her laugh. in reality, he could not say a word, beacuse for him seeing her made even his own words blush. Sam on the other hand was not suppotive, instead occasions were he met his friend daydreaming, he would pull him away.
That same day, Edward gets back home only to see his parents in the kitchen together laughing. His mum quickly rushes to hug him, and he gives his father a questioning look, who suprisingly replies the same. His mum tells him of the gift she got for him, and again Edward looks at her surprised.
He rushes up the stairs into his room, and finds a book on his bed. Then a thought hits him, "does mum still think i am a Kid", his father walks into the room and advices him to stop reading story books and check the gift in his wardrobe.
Edward still curious about the book, opens the cover and the story begins..........
Rewind 271 years back, Edward finds himself in the middle of survival. his age changes, his body figure enhances and he feels like a man. He has to make new friends so he can survive. He finds love, and fights to keep his love. Things he alone knows within, were never impossible for him he did.
Walking through bushy parts, fighting monsters, demons and dragons, trying to save a people, bringing back a village and saving the future, is all Edward faces here.
Close to meeting the Devil, Edward tip toes into his kingdom, then he feels a tap on his shoulder. having heard so much about this creature, he does not know what to expect when he turns around. Slowly as he turns around with eyes half open, he sees his dad. "Edward...we were so purpose to go and see your grandmother, but instead you come into your room and then you sleep off....get up and come down for lunch" his father said, and walks away.
Romance, adventure, and fiction all mixed to bring up what i call THE DREAM
