Because they instill fear in you, in me, in them
As Fear from the unknown was instilled in the ones before them
Who believed they were the center of the universe
Of evolution
They wanted to believe they were safe from the unknown
And we want to believe that too
We cannot accept now
Even when we accept
There will be more to accept
But I can acknowledge the possibility of other possibilities without saying I'm mad
