REWARD FOR THE HONESTY
Once there lived a poor wood cutter. Daily he went to the forest and cut woods and sold them. He was leading a poor life but he was very honest. He helped others also with his poor income. Though he was very poor, he did not ask for any help from any one though he had many rich friends.
One day, he was cutting a tree, his axe fell into the tank under that tree. He was very sad. He came down the tree and he started to search for his axe. By that time an angel appeared before him and said, Don't worry! I will get you your axe. She went inside the tank and brought one Gold axe and asked. Is this axe yours? The wood cutter said, No. This is not mine. Again She went under and came back with a silver axe and asked, Is this yours? He replied that it was not his axe. Again She went down and came up with the iron axe and asked, Is this yours? He said, Oh! Yes! This is my axe. He took the axe from the angel and said, Thank you very much. Then the angel said, I know that his is your axe. I just tested you honesty! You are really a honest person. You keep all the three and Vanished. The wood cutter was very happy and returned home with all three axes. If we are honest, surely, we would be rewarded.
