Tess Of The D'urbervilles
(Thomas Hardy)
Write your abstract here. "Tess" is a bold late Victorian novel by the novelist Thomas Hardy, who always had a penchant for poetry. The eponymous character of the novel if "an unsullied girl" at the opening of the novel, and at the end, she is executed for nothing less than murder - such is the range of the novel. The novel is the perfect epitome of Hardy's pessimism and may leave the reader cold in heart. Still, Tess, with all her innocence and sensitivity, wins away our hearts.
