A Moreninha - Released in 1844 by Joaquim Manuel de Macedo is the story of Augusto, a young man who bets with your friends that he would have to write a lovestory novel if he felt in love with some girl during their vacation in a island. The young man meets Carolina, a local girl. Even trying not to love her, he eventually gives in. In the end, the troubled but innocent love they felt for each other inspired the big city young man to write a beautiful and pure lovestory novel called My Dear Colored Little Girl.
