Book
(Annie Dillard)
Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, written by Annie Dillard, won her the Pullitzer Prize when she was merely 28. The book explores nature in grand detail, from the large expanse of the galaxy, to the smallest parasite dwelling on another parasite; in addition, it focuses on how we, the lovers of the world, see what we love and are blind to all else. This is a book of discovery that opens the world and peers inside at its contents, holding it up to the light and pondering its mysteries, including the biggest mystery of all: the Divine and its role in the world.
