Chapter headings are bilingual. Some of the settings include: At home, The fruit & vegetable store, The corner bookstore, At school, The soccer field, In the city, At the beach, etc.
Children learn how to say their name, age, say simple sentences, learn simple vocabulary. There are colorful illustrations of character and place.
There is also a Word List with an alphabetical listing of the words that appear in the book, together with the page numbers.
By the time children finish reading this book they have an excellent foundation for Spanish, can build simple conversations, and have the basis for new words and phrases.
