The law of the Talion applied in a world where the one that has more money tramples the weakest. Only a personage like ?The Godfather? can equal the social classes, taking revenge of the violation of a poor girl with the beating to the rich boy who never will be punished by the laws.
The book was carried al movies of magisterial form by Coppola. The first part is based on the book. The life of Vito Corleone in the second part also is in these pages. One can think that seeing masterpieces of the director of Italian last name nothing can contribute the book to him, nothing more far away of the reality. In the work of Mario Puzo we found small details that could not be included in the film, which will give us one more shadier and beautiful vision of history.
