Michel is a 40-year old frustrated clerk and a pornography addict, who
no longer believes that anything would break the monotony and futility
of his life. He does not expect much from the trip to Thailand, which
he resolves to make after his father's funeral. However, when in
Thailand, Michel meets a tourist agent Valerie and the two become
lovers. Their relationship is full of intensity and perversive
behaviour. The couple think of starting a business, which would
comprise of a chain of luxurious brothels for tourists from the West.
They are convinced that every European tourist dreams of sex-tourism,
though they would not admit it openly. However, the efforts to
establish the business turn out to have tragic consequences for Michel
and Valerie.
