The New Pearl Harbor
(David Ray Griffin)

Publicidade
The New Pearl Harbor. Disturbing Questions about the Bush Administration and 9/11 is an extremely significant and eye-opening book that does just what it suggests by raising many shockingly controversial issues about the events on and surrounding September the eleventh, 2001 (9/11). It also asks why the media has not done its job by demanding responses to those same unanswered questions. Griffin uses his logic and thorough research to suggest extreme, yet plausible, answers to these.

The Bush Administration published a document in 2000 that stated that for America to dominate much of humanity and the world's resources it needed some catastrophic and catalysing event - like a new Pearl Harbor. Obviously, argues Griffin, 9/11 was just that; a catastrophic and catalysing event that caused the American public to back Bush into the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The amount of problems with the official account of events on 9/11 truly is astonishing. Why weren't standard operating procedures for dealing with possibly hijacked airplanes followed that day? How did a Boeing 757 crash into the Pentagon, yet only leave a hole 18 feet wide? How could the Twin Towers be the only steel-frames buildings in history to ever collapse from fire? Why did President Bush react so calmly to the news, showing no sign of concern? The list goes on and so Griffin clarifies these inaccuracies and contradictions, explaining logical solutions.

These brave, challenging questions and comprehensive answers are more detailed and logical than the official account of events and its call for the need of a full investigation cannot be disputed. It's a page-turner that leaves the reader in no doubt - even the stongest sceptics will be swayed. Griffin's done the work the media's neglected by opening the public's eyes. The New Pearl Harbor can't be ignored and will surely go down in history as one of the most significant works of its time.
