In most of the countries the music is compulsory education. On some countries the governments trying to make as compulsory lesson. Those governments not in a position to make the things all right.
There could be much reason not for implementing it. Out of which non availability of the teachers, and failures in executing the order and much more. The top most reason is syllabus. The syllabus for teaching young children must be just to convey the value of the music, and should convey the children worth of music. The usage of the music.
Employment opportunity of the music, and few songs to listen and the children should be asked to sing some national songs. This kind of lesson should be the first lesson to teach. There is lot of music teacher available this beginner?s lesson.
After completing this first lesson, they can select the students who are eligible to sing alone; who is not interested in singing can be shifted to learn the musical instrument. Later, children with more vigor?s can be selected to learn rhythm instruments like drums and other percussion instruments. (like tabla, dolac, kanjeera) etc.
This syllabus can be added from the 5th standard. An average age of ten or eleven. The parent?s duty is to find their genius children from the birth of the child. If they feel his son or daughter can do well in music, they can try with the private master.
