Kate is an outcast. Raised by her grandmother, Jillian, she inherits a gift passed down through generations. He is clumsy and accident prone just as his father had been and suffers feelings of worthlessness as a result. Unable to believe a cure for his problem could actually exist he simply accepts the taunts from other school students and continues on with his life.
Eventually Kate convinces him that things are not always as they seem and thus they embark upon the most amazing journey, transcending time and place, experiencing more than most could begin to imagine.
Will Kate and Jarrod manage to finally lift the curse that?s plagued the Thornton family for generations? Will Jillian ever see her granddaughter again? Will Jarrod?s life ever be the same?
Marianne provides the reader with not just a literary masterpiece but a visual experience as well; such is her ability with the pen. For a young adult fantasy fiction writer she manages to keep the adult punters satisfied as well with a plot that itself transcends a generation gap. A definite 5 is called for here. Top marks!
