This is a fiction story written in a series of novels. In this first book of the series, Harry Potter a young boy becomes eleven years old to find out that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses magical powers of his own. Harry?s mother, Lily Potter who was a mudblood (muggle\human born) married James Potter and Harry was born. When Harry was young Voldemort an evil wizard who performed black magic became powerful and killer Harry?s parents. Although he couldn?t kill Harry and himself lost his body, became powerless, and disappeared. Harry was although left to live with his aunt and uncle, the Vernons who treated him like a servant and didn?t tell him that he was a wizard. In his eleventh year Hagrid, a teacher (not exactly) came to take him to Hogwarts by the order of headmaster Albus Dumledore. In magical world Harry finds various astonishing things, platform 9 ¾, diagon alley, gringotts bank, goblins, talking pictures, various teachers teaching various peculiar subjects, a sorting hat which sorted children into their houses- Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin, various creatures. He made many friends at Hogwarts (his magical school) but his best friends were, Ronald Weasley (Ron) and Hermione Granger (all three of them were sorted in Gryffindor house), and his enemy was Drako Malcfoy- a mean boy proud of his wealth and high status. He also had an owl-Hedwig gifted to him by Hagrid. For the first time at Christmas he had got a few presents. He even came across a mirror, which showed the greatest desires of a person. At school he had various adventures, played Quidditch and became youngest seeker, he even got a new nimbus 2000- the fastest broomstick, fought a fully-grown mountain troll, and even served few detentions. He came to know that there was a sorcerer?s stone (which could turn anything into gold, and make anyone immortal-that person wont die), hidden in the school, which belonged to Nicholas Flamel who had recently celebrated his 625th birthday, and that someone was trying to steel it (he thought it was Snape, his potions teacher). So his friends began finding clues to save the stone and used various magical items like the invisibility cloak. After much hard work they could find the stone (during the exploration Ron was injured and was taken back to the hospital by Hermione). They had to face various problems, the three headed dog-fluffy, the human killing plants, the door which had its key flying and various other keys following people trying to catch it, and the wizard chess in which they had to become players themselves and even get injured. At last Harry was the one to enter final room to find the stone to find that not Snape but voldemort (in Quirrel the defense against the dark arts teacher?s body) was the one trying to steel the stone. Harry could find the stone (from the mirror which would give it only to the person who would want to have it but not use it) and battled with Quirrel and didn?t allow him to take it. Quirrel was burnt the minute he tried to harm Harry due to the presence of his mothers love in this body. Harry then became the hero of the school along with Ron and Hermione and even passed his exams. At the end of the term he had to go back to live with the Vernons for his summer vacations, but not to worry he would return again next year.
