Creation of the world: In the Bible God created the world in six days. First, he separated the day and the night. On the second day he separated the sky and the water. On the third day he created the earth and he called the water - sea. On the fourth day the sun, the moon and the stars were created. On the fifth day he created the living creatures, which lived in the sea and on the earth.He blessed them and told to muliply so that they would be able to live everywhere. On the sixth day God created the man. On the seventh day God rested. Cresation of the man in the bible - God created the man in his own image and his own resembelance. He formed the man out of the dust of the earth and breathed life in his nostrils Psalm - a biblical poetic prayer-like work Job - was a rich man, respected by friends and neighbours; a good, honest and just person; the father of a happy family; one day all possible unhappiness started to affect his family. Job was to the test: he lost his children, properties and health. He proved his greatness when he suffered all of these meekly. He didn't stop to believe in God, he didn't turn his back on God. Thanks to his dignity and perserverance he got his happiness back. His faith was rewarded. The Apocalypse of St John the Apostole - is the most important book of the Bible - it closes the whole history of the world. It was written during the first persecutions of the Christians. The Book contains visions and prophecies concerning the Final Judgement. It both threatens us and consoles. It is a universal and timeless dimension. It shows the good and the evil, chaos and the fall of the man and resoring of all the order and sense of the world.
