Probably the best opera of the fantasy genius Richard Matheson, in my opinion one of the best writers of the twentieth century. The tale deals with the Robert Neville history, that seems to lead a normal life but actually he doesn't. Becouse he is the last human being on the earth. The world in fact except him is now completely populated by vampires. Only against all and all Robert leads several researches on the phenomenon, trying to go beyond the mysterious appearance of the vampiri which the literature has handed down, and to understand the scientific origins of the phenomenon as be able to destroy it. During the day goes in the town to kill all the asleep vampires which find, while vanishing of the light he cames back home to defend him from their attacks. A raising of tension erousing up to the enchanting finished conclusion ... At the end of book we stay with the atrocious doubt: " is then so wicked, the vampire "?
All the keen on the kind can't lose this book, but it is to advise who he is not.
