Joseph Conrad in his character, sailor Marlow, is able to transmit the feelings, reflections, fears and the same fear the he experienced when he had to sail the great Congo River in Central Africa. More that a literature piece, this could be named as an adventure book or traveling one. We find a story where we can go deeply into the darkness of the human being, with a narrator, without being totally polished, that takes us to an incredible journey through the heart of Africa of the beginnings of the century where the reader could feel in every page the presence of the anguish and the fear of the unknown.
