Seashore (Fisher man?s life) Introduction How will it be to hear the dazzling sound of sea waves 24 hours, 7 days in a week and 365 days in a year? How will it be to make your means and living by struggling on the sea every day by braving the odds nature? Won?t it be excellent thrilling and enchanting? If the reader answers this question with an affirmative yes then he has got to more than envy on a fisherman?s life, his family, way of living, culture, practices and the interactions among the community & rest of the world. Great Living A fisherman?s life is not only unique and systematic but it is the one needing appreciation and applause. They live in a separate world devoid of any differences. It might appear appropriate to term them barbarians. However the fact remains that they are neither barbarians nor a group of communally self-fish people. The concept of trade inherited in genes is losing relevance day after day. The fisherman community is an exception to this trend (and that too by a very large extent). What Makes their Life Special? The life of a fisherman has the three proportions namely peace happiness and satisfaction the right quantum. If we are to take an account of the other virtues that they posses the list will definitely be an unending one. They live as a family. Caste or other difference doesn?t reflect on any of their behaviors. They share happiness and plight equally (be it of any type or magnitude). Any dispute is resolved by mutual agreements and it need be consultation from elders and neighbors. Then what else does one need in this world to strive in peace? They leave into these everyday and return with many or some (or ever no fishes). Whatsoever be the result does not have say on their happiness. To them fishing merely professions. They worship it and adore every respect for Mother Sea so no matter whether they get fishes or not they remain happy with the present. In fact they don?t invest in saving deposits or public sector bank. They spend the entire money for family, friends and entertainment but of course with a little reserve to meet future contingencies. Money is not everything in life to them. Happiness and satisfaction remains in their core value system. Recognition in social Life The fisherman also enjoys a lower start a in the society (like his counter part). With the advent of modern technologies his role is of less significance to the business, corporate houses & export (engaged in trading of fish) in fact the later has considerably reduced the income and opportunities that were solely available to the former. The growth of technology and modernization deserves strong encouragement. However the fate of the fisherman remains unanswered. This is a sensitive issue that needs to be solved immediately. The services of fisherman should be used in organized sector. This will be mutually beneficial the fisherman will secure employment and constant income moreover the companies get trained labor at free of cost. Since this trade is imbibed in their genes it is easy for the company to get thing done quickly. In fact they can learn a lot of thing practically, which would have otherwise remained a myth to them. Conclusion But why is nobody thinking of these factors? Whenever modernization comes into force the value of human asset is forgotten. So what happens to those who are taught and trained in the respective field right from childhood? The practice comes naturally and not by any artificial means. If we are not going to deal this issue then mankind is poised to lose these professions that come by birth. No amount of technology will deliver efficiency as a lever called human beings operates them.
