Jonathan Livingston Seagull
(Richard Bach)

Publicidade
Jonathan is a seagull who wants to fly, because he loves flying. He is very much unlike the rest of his Flock who fly only for food. He is interested in learning new techniques to improve his flight and pushes himself to achieve what no gull has achieved before. Sadly, he is outcast for flouting the rules and has to spend the rest of his days alone. One day, he dies and moves on to another world, where he learns from Chiang, the Elder Gull, that Heaven is not a particular place or time, it is nothing but the state of being perfect. Jonathan comes back to earth and begins to teach those members of his Flock, who are interested to learn and change themselves.
Though this book seems to be just a fable, it?s much more than that. It?s a wonderful book, which inspires us to touch perfection in what we love doing the most. It helps us to understand that we are free, unlimited by space, time or our own bodies and that each one of us is an image of God himself.
