Deception Point
(Dan Brown)

Publicidade
What do ET and the President of the United
States have in common?

Dan Brown shows that the president?s connection to ET is not
merely a way to get reelected, but a true matter of life and death.

Deception Point provides you with a breadth of knowledge in
areas that most laymen have never even grazed upon their surface. You learn
about living in the Arctic Circle and how ice shelves
are formed. You learn about fossils and geology. Hammerhead sharks are
introduced along with other underwater species. The book introduces underwater
volcanoes and whirlpools. All of these are explained in an easy-to-understand
language as part of the action scene- not as a science lesson.

Aside from learning about nature, Dan Brown teaches you
about the intricate politics of Washington,
the dirty tricks used by the politicians, and the sweet revenge of those who
outsmart their opponents. You come out saying to yourself ? ?Gee that was so
clever!?

For hi-tech people, Deception Point book has a lot to offer
too. From habisphere environments on the North Pole to ammunition created in
the field such as ice bullets in the North Pole and sand bullets in the desert.
You learn about new stealth jets and helicopters with the latest technologies
and gadgets.

For the UFO buffs, Dan Brown suggests that UFOs that were
seen and documented, were actually NASA experiments meant to be concealed from
the public.

As with the UFOs, many of Brown?s hypotheses and
descriptions are only partially accurate. He has the artful talent in
explaining things in a clear and believable fashion, making the facts very plausible
to anyone other than experts in the field of geology or oceanography. For example, Brown?s oceanographer explains that
sharks are attracted to blood. For this
reason, one of the injured victims removes his blood soaked clothing when in
the vicinity of the sharks.

But on top of all of this, it?s a true espionage
page-turning thriller that frequently switches back and forth to different
scenes, keeping you in great suspense.
