Manifesto Of The Communist Party
(Karl Marx)

Publicidade
The Communist Manifesto, first published in 1848 by Karl marx is still regarded with a lot of reverence in the various echelons of the political world primarily because its spectre still continues to haunt the societies of the world-the spectre of Communism.
Marx was of the opinion that society right through the ages has transformed and progressed primarily due to the different class struggles inherent in it. .However the direction of the struggle and the consequent direction of change was determined by the tools of production dominating the society at that given time period. To further illustrate his point he attributed the rise of Capitalism to the upcoming Industrial Boom hovering over the society at that time.
However he says, that the capitalists have not been a very just class and have usurped the tools of production, relentlessly exploiting the workers and denying to them the fruits of their production which rightly belong to them. However this state is not likely to continue for long.Once the workers become conscious and unite on a common platform they will launch a class struggle which shall be the epitome of all struggles and eventually result in the downfall of Capitalism and the heralding of a new era of 'Democratic Socialism'
What is starkly evident in the Communist Manifesto is Marx's inherent proclamation of the downfall of Capitalism and the ushering of a new classless society under the banner of 'Democratic socialism'.However the idea does sound very Utopian .
But even though the thoughts voiced by Marx have not borne fruit completely, there are certain basic tenets which have been proven in today's world and it is because of this very fact that the book continues to enjoy poularity till date.
