Can improve your mood Almost any yoga asana or pose can be done dynamically or enjoyed in stillness. Yoga has seciic rules about these. Static poses help to stillthe mind. Therefore,these are particularly crucial for those who have a hyperactive personality. Such people will find doing poses in a static fashion extremely difficult. But continued practice willhelp them balance their mind. This can be invaluable in defusing stress in the long run. On the other hand,those who are lethargic may do the poes in a dynamic fashion, to rev upthe sytem. But as you may have observed in yourself, we all have our passive and dull days just like how we have hyper and stressful days too. We must design our yoga according to our moods too. On winter mornings when the urge is to sleep through the alarm clock,dynamic yoga can help wake up. During summer, when the heat makes us snappy, we can do our yoga gently. Stand up straight,feet one=ft apart. Inhale,raising hands above haead. Simultaneously rise yourself up or toes. Stretch fully. If possible hold breath. (Avoid if you ar suffering from heart ailment or BP) Exhale,sklowly lowering hand. Tyou should simultaneously lower yourself back on your soles. Repeat a few times. Do as above. But no breath holdoiing,especially for children. Continue breathing normally. Walk on your toes,fully retaining the stretch of hands and body,for a distance. Relax to the original,starting pose. Repeat by raising yourself up, as before,walking back on your toes again. Eyes should look ahead while walking.
