AGELESS BODY AND TIMELESS MIND Each mind is a clear window letting in the possibility of equal joy, equal appreciation and what is unfolding in front of you. Certainty and uncertainty are two aspects of your future. Your desires and attentions guide the path of your growth. In unity, you realize that every step into decay , destruction and dissolution is being used to organize new patterns of order. We are certainly trying to relieve old hurts and escape old fears and impose control over the uncontrollable. The present is for action, for becoming and for growing. Listen to your body?s wisdom, which expresses itself through signals of comfort and discomfort. Take time to be silent, to meditate, to quiet the internal dialogue. Relinquish the need for external approval. Living in balance and purity is the highest good for you and the earth. Life is a creative enterprise. There are many levels of creation and therefore many levels of mastery. To be completely loving and non-judgmental and self ? accepting is an exalted goal but the important thing is to work from a concept of wholeness- knitting the body, mind and spirit into a unity. The latter years should become a time , when life becomes a whole. Awareness once it becomes conditioned , assumes the shape of habit ; unconscious repetition reinforces the destructive patterns and unless new learning takes place ,inertia will carry the body downhill year after year. Awareness has always two components ? attention and intention. Attention focuses awareness to a local perception. Intention brings about a change in the localization. We all pay attention to various desires and intentions. The magic is how the body follows this change of awareness across the barrier of time. Again, we see that the quality of one?s awareness depends on the quality of attention. Whatever you pay attention to will grow more important in your life. There is no limit to the kind of changes that awareness can produce. Through practice you can heal any imbalance in the mind-body system through awareness, once the appropriate technique of relaxation, release and insight are learned. Having an intention is enough to accomplish a result. When perfectly focused, awareness has the ability to carry out specific commands. Our most fundamental needs ? for love, understanding, encouragement, support ? permeate every cell. The desires that arise in your mind are often clouded by ego motives, which are not true needs. People get caught up in pursuit of money, career goals and political ambitions in ways that are disconnected from the fundamental needs of comfort and well being that every healthy organism must fulfill. Many of us are so alienated from our basic needs, so programmed to run after what the ego wants that we have to relearn the basic mechanics of how attention and intention actually work. Every cell in your body seeks fulfillment through joy, beauty, love and Appreciation.. Although we are not aware of it, the body is constantly aware of the temperature, heart rate and other automatic functions by listening to its own internal messages.. The slightest change in any function registers however faintly in the awareness of the nervous system. Awareness is a field and by sending an intention into the field, you shift the flow of biological information. The smooth flow of information in the body becomes blocked by stresses , memories, past trauma and random mistakes. Although such breakdowns are subtle , they are not lost to awareness, the heart, liver, kidney and every other organ know when they are malfunctioning. What we are learning to do here, is to refine such perceptions so that they register at an early stage. The earlier it is detected, the more earlier the distorted function can be corrected using awareness alone. The very first stage of any physiological disruption takes place in awareness itself, quite naturally, the best way to move these disruptions back into imbalanceis also by using attention. Every intention is a trigger for transformation. Spirituality is not meant to be separate from the body. At every stage of spiritual growth, the greatest ally is your body. Most of us assume that the body and the spirit stand at opposite ends of the spectrum. Nature balances mind, body and spirit as co-creators of personal reality. You cannot do a single thing from falling in love to uttering a prayer without affecting everything you are. The body is the platform that allows any experience to emerge and see the light of the day. It is a 3-D projection of billions of separate processes going on at any moment, including a process as coming to know the reality of God. Every aspect of reality is one piece of mystery., a facet of overarching wholeness, the totality of what is. Pain and pleasure are psychological expressions of what is. Compassion and love are spiritual expressions of what is . When the material, psychological and spiritual dimensions are brought into balance, life becomes whole and this union brings . feelings of comfort and security. Life is an eternal dance. The movements of the dance are choreographed through awareness. Your desires and attention guide the path of your growth. Because attention is always flowing, the dance never ends. This is the essence of living.. Every moment is a part of the dance; therefore the space ? time event is meaningful and necessary. It is the order within chaos.
