Frankenstein, a book written in the XIX century by Mary Shelley is a great literary tapestry, with references to Milton and other classics of universal literature. Victor Frankestein, a medical student, isolates himself from the world after the death of his mother, and goes in search of the human ideal: Imortality. His commitment to this search makes him create and give life to the creature, the book's main character. However, such creature is of immense stature and has deep scars originated from several surgeries to which his creator subjected him. Worst of all, he does not receive a name, losing any possibility of social integration. Not being able to understand the implications of his action, the creator, abandons his creature, preventing him from establishing any emotional link. Totaly alone, and at the margins of society, he hides from anyone and anything, and in his lonely retire learns about the world through his books. The creature, adopting the name of his creator - Frankenstein - is determined to destroy both and starts by murdering his creator's next of kin: his brother, friends and fiancee. Such is Frankenstein: a book that speaks of the human soul. It is impossible to read it and not feel empathy towards it's characters. Revolt, love, death, pain, family, friendship, prejudice, contempt, loneliness and revenge are the main ingredients in this work imortalized through time. Frankenstein will certainly seduce you. "Remember that I was created by you, I should be your Adam, however I am more like the fallen angel, from whom you took all joy, for a crime I have not commited. All around I see the joy from which I am excluded. I was benevolent, good; disgrace turned me into a demon". (Mary Shelley - Frankenstein)
