"Around the World in Eighty Days" written by a French writer Jules Verne, and is one of the most popular book s of him. The main character Fogg wagered his friends that he would travel around the world within 80 Days and back to London. He and his servant overcame a lots of difficulties but was late for 5 minutes when they returned to London. He thought he was lost but infact he won luckily. As he travels from the east to the west, he had saved one day. After the release of the book, it became a great success and was published again and again. When Verne rewrote it into a play in 1874, it was also very famous. Jules Verne(1828 - 1905), a French fiction writer, was born in a city very closed to the harbor. He loved sailing, and had left home for being a sailor, but was discovered by his father. He studied law in Paris in 1848, and didn''t want to be a judge after graduation, and had been a secretary of a theatre, and wrote plays. He started being interested in any scientific discoveries, and prepared for writing science fictions. In 1863, his "Five Weeks in a Balloon" was published, and was a big success. In the following 40 years, he worked hard in this area, and almost every year will have one or two new books. This film is one of the classics of the Oscar. The American gentlemen Mr. Fogg wagered his friends that he would travel around the world within 80 days in a club, and started his journey ion the second day. He had faced so many troubles and all of them were solved by the alertness of Fogg. But at the same time, Fogg was misunderstood as a bank robber, and was facing arrest, but the misunderstanding was eliminated at last. Finally, Fogg completed his magnificent feat in a very bad situation.
