In the vision, historical-critical the education occurs in the scope of the Inter-relations of the individual with its social group, culturally structuralized. For the necessity to become related and to communicate themselves, the man produces the language, surpassing its proper limits. Thus, developing the capacities of generalization and abstraction of the world its return. The language allows the man to codify and to decode. This capacity of representation of objects in signs and decodes makes them with that it surpasses its sensible conscience and pass for the rational conscience. Everything this development if to give by means of the constant work in elapsing of its life. According to Luria (1988), "the primary function of the dumb language to the measure that increases the educational experience of the person". The language can be verbal and not-verbal and the writing is its developed product more, therefore it does not count on almost no verbal element (gestures, mimic etc.). The acquisition of the writing is not a purely pertaining to school product, but a long process of appropriation and construction on the part of the child. The reading is a on activity to the writing, having as objective primordial its understanding. To read is not only to decode, is also to attribute sensible to the text, is to understand, to interpret and to know to make relations with the life. Being the important and essential reading very in the life of a person the access to this universe is necessary. It fits to the educators to oportunizar different readings to the pupils thus and, to establish an ample net of relations of individuals that search in the universe of the reading the taste, the learning and the formation of critical citizens, reflective and operating. It is essential that, they create different chances to lead to its pupils to read. Task not very easy, but studies show that it is possible to explore this universe and it becomes it attractive in the schools with different texts that we use in day-by-day. READING MODALITIES: * TO READ FOR PRASER: where the workmanships of infantile literature are worked and infanto-youthful in it chats and verse with objective to make interpretations and to develop literary sensitivity. * TO READ TO INQUIRE ITSELF: are texts of varied sources, as periodicals, magazines, encyclopedias, the book of the pupil and texts indicated for the professor. * TO READ TO STUDY: the focus does not have to be only for evaluation, but mainly the register, acquisition and construction of the knowledge. * READING EXCUSE: when, the professor uses as resource for production of texts.
