To Kill A Mockingbird
(Harper Lee)

Publicidade
Peighton Phillips 3rd hour English In Harper Lee?s novel To Kill A Mockingbird, Scout Finch is the character demonstrating the most strength, because of how well she handles the troubles in her life throughout the story. One way Scout is courageous is by standing up for her father and what she believes in. The reader understands this when Atticus says ?? Scout?d just as soon jump on someone as look at him if her pride?s at stake? (Lee 88). Scout Finch also shows her strength and maturity by obeying her Aunt Alexandra. She says ??After all, if Aunty could be a lady at a time like this, so could I? (Lee 237). Scout has the strength to handle the first seeing of Boo Radley. For her, this meeting would be outrageously huge, but she shows how calm she is at the moment when saying ?? His lips parted into a timid smile, and our neighbor?s image blurred with my sudden tears. ?Hey, Boo,? I said? (Lee 270). Obviously, Scout Finch demonstrates the most courage and strength.
