(George Orwell)

abstract OF LIVRO I
The Revolution of the Bugs, of George Orwell

Key word: revolution - bugs - communism - pigs.

It is an audacious fable that criticizes the Russian communism in matter. Modern adaptation of the consecrated story of the three porks, which could be identified as the Major (Lênin), Napoleon (Stálin) and Ball-of-snow (Trotsky).
Everything begins when the animals of the Farm of the Solar (property of Mr. Jones) they decide to do a revolution, advised by the major, old pig that is to the edge of the death and he/she dreams about an England free from the Man''s domain, what will allow to the animals the usufruto of a happy and fair life, without your largest enemy''s oppression. After the Major''s death and taking advantage of one occasion in that they are deprived of victuals, the animals rebel and they put Jones, your wife and the employees outside of the farm, establishing the new community and moving the name of the place to Farm of the Bugs.

After that, Napoleon and Ball-of-snow they become leaders and they establish the Seven Commandments - a group of seven laws that is constituted in the followed code by the residents of the farm. But, therefore, it begins the corruption among them, being the privileged pigs on the other bugs.
The new community''s news disperses among the neighboring farms and in an attempt for reapossar-if of the farm that was yours, Jones and your men attack the farm, but they are defeated once again by the animals, with prominence for Ball-of-snow, that ends for increasing your reputation. However, serious divergences begin among him and Napoleon, which it ends for expelling your rival of the farm, aided by ferocious dogs created secretly.

He/she/you settles down like this a cruel dictatorship in that pigs and the dogs have prerogatives on all. Tyrannical Napoleon represses any insubordination act by the atrocious death.
The windmill - project suggested by Ball-of-snow - he/she becomes the community''s objective principal under Napoleon''s command, that robs the idea for itself.
The animals live, in that way, forced to a constant and exhausting work to build the said mill and, besides, they continue with the agricultural tasks that guarantee the community''s subsistence.
To the proportion that the time passes, Napoleon introduces the trade and the drink in the Farm of the Bugs, before forbidden for they belong typically activity and product to the men.
The windmill, built after some failures, it is used purely for purposes commercial, because Napoleon links with the farmers of the adjacencies.
Finally, the pigs, after the due training, begin to walk on two legs and they acquire all the habits and the humans'' addictions arriving to the lamentable point of they be confused with them by the other animals of the farm, that he/she has your old name again: Farm of the Solar.

George Orwell''s fable is deeply well built and it reaches your goal in a radical way. The Russian communism is undressed and the contradictions of the human behavior are revealed.
