Death Before Dishonor
(Nikki Turner)

Publicidade
In a very riveting, simplistic, realistic book a character''s plea is heard through the chambers of love, lies, deceit, and death before dishonor. Trill Johnson has five years of jail time under his belt and jail is the last place that he wants to see again for a while. Even though he is loyal to the members of his crew he knows that trouble is always looking him in the eye. In the book Sunni James is a beautician with her own grounds and fundalmentals working for her. She has money and she has several men that she is involved with only intimately. One day the two meet at a stop light thinking nothing of it they part. However, they meet fatefully, when Mr. Johnson is on the run someone sold him out! He is mad and furious fleeing for his life he finds himself in the same neighborhood as Mrs. James insists that he comes inside. So, she caters to him for a day and night of sex. In this lust nest Trill is married to Precious Pay. She cared for his child while he was lockdowned and she was loyal to his love. Furtherly, she lost a leg in the cross-fire of a drug deal gone wrong. Inevitably, she is crooked in her ways and Trill loses his love for Precious. So, within all this lust, love, deceit, and honor the stakes are raised someone else is unfaithful to Trill. On top of that Sunni is the talk of her shop. Trill becomes obsessed as she is with their high-sprung love affair. The punchline is this: Is love worth is or living life as a coward better than dying for a higher price: LOYALTY. This is a adventurous, rich-flavored, book that is propelled with a creativity genuis from Mrs. Turner.
