en nueva yorkSumer of my German soldier start at a train station, where is Patty and most of the townspeople of Jenkinsville are waiting to the arrive of the prisoners of war (POW), when they arrive the Gls take them quickly to the vehicle and take them away. Patty went to get lunch at her house with her sister Sharon and Ruth the housekeeper. After Patty get lunch go to tell her parents the notice that the POWs arrived, her father and mother doesn?t paid attention to Patty so patty return to her house. The parents of patty never pay attention to Patty because all the attention is for Sharon her sister. Patty was looked by her parents like an annoying disturbance and all their attention is based on their other daughter Sharon. All the family was going to visit Patty?s grandparents. To patty?s father doesn?t likes so much Patty?s grandparents and also to Patty. Patty grandmother has planed to got to shopping and eat with her but Patty said that she prefers to buy a book. Her grandmother gave her money to buy books and said her that when the money finished. Patty?s mother was angry of their sister in law because her father take her sister in law to other country for business. The family return to their house.
