WHY ALL THE DISASTERS?

IF YOU are like most people, my friend, you must be concerned about what is happening in the world today.
We just need to glance at the front page of a newspaper, or turn on a television news channel, to see the alarming conditions in our nation, and throughout the world.
We find chaotic conditions, with many countries in the grip of fear because of terrorist attacks. We find the nations preparing for war; and not only are they multiplying conventional weapons, they are seeking to enhance their powers by making weapons of mass destruction - nuclear, chemical and biological weapons that are so horrendous that we shudder to think about the possible results of these inventions in the years ahead.
But it is not just the future; right now, countless people are living with severe trauma because of devastating calamities including earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, cyclones, floods, famines, pollution, plagues and epidemics that are striking many parts of the world. Not only are millions of precious lives being lost, but the enormous damage from the disasters is wrecking havoc on the economies of the nations.
And to make the conditions worse, much of the world is saturated with corruption. Our economics, politics, moral and social behaviour have all been greatly debased.
While many organisations and individuals are seeking to do good in the world, it is evil that seems to triumph. Violence, greed, selfishness, disobedience, lust and hatred are the forces that are shaping the world around us, and producing a dreadful harvest of addictions, intolerance and anarchy.
Have you been thinking about these things? I am sure you have! And if you are concerned about what?s happening around us, let me tell you my friend, that the Almighty God is also concerned! You will ahve to know the deeper things from tha word of god and so will see it.
