A glass of wine and that perfect night,
In a ballroom resting around the candle light,
I saw his face and that spectacular sculpted nose,
His hand stretching out to me with a rose,
Unbelievably, this was the Cinderella moment for me,
I accepted the golden offer rejecting my fiancés plea,
We stepped on the dance floor to share a fairytale,
But the thought of a kiss turned me pale,
My golden taffeta gown glittered in the mirror of his eye,
And his lips steered with a question towards a reply,
The clock stroke twelve and it was time to say goodbye,
But before that we had to taste the chocolate love pie,
We moved closer covering that irresistible gap,
Intentionally locking ourselves in a romantic trap,
Ouch! The nose of my dreams came tumbling down,
Maybe I got too close to that clown,
Out he rushed, leaving that nose behind,
A surgeon?s masterpiece so kind,
NOW That was fairy godmother?s lesson for tonight,
Never breakup with your fiancé for an unknown Romeo?s sight.
