Managing Stress On The Project Team
(Lou Russell)

Publicidade
90% of employees say that they are burnt out. That?s a pretty scary statistic especially considering that employees who are overstressed aren?t working at their full potential, make more mistakes, and have more trouble getting their work done on time. Moreover, missing deadlines, making mistakes, and not feeling like a valid part of a team actually increases creating an ever increasing cycle of stress build up.So what can managers do to decrease stress? What can you do to decrease your own stress? Managing Stress on the Project Team to the rescue!Managing Stress on the Project Team is an audio CD of a conference lecture by Lou Russell. This lecturer is straightforwardly honest and presents the material in a way that holds the listener?s attention while making them really think about the way that they do business. I had to laugh at the irony, as I listened to the lecturer about the downside of multi-tasking, I was listening to the CD while madly trying to get three other things done (and making mistakes that were driving me insane). Could she be any more correct in her assessment? She also noted a handful of other ways to create stress that I had also experienced and were quickening the eventuality of burn out.
