It's important here in Shvoong cause better you write the reader will keep reading the rest of your writing.Abstract is a short statement that describe a larger work. Should contain keyword and phrases that allow easy searching and allows readers who may be interested in the longer work to quickly decide if it's worth to read it. It contain key words about what is important and someone can retrieve information from it. The practice of using key words in an abstract is vital because of today's electronic information retrieval systems. Titles and abstracts are filed electronically, and key words are put in electronic storage. When people search for information, they enter key words related to the subject, and the computer prints out the titles of articles, papers, and reports containing those key words.You must be creative and must include several sections. There are Descriptive Abstracts and Informative Abstracts.Descriptive Abstracts Indicates the type of information found in the work. It makes no judgments
about the work. It does incorporate key words found in the text. Usually very short.Informative Abstracts
The majority of abstracts are informative. While they still do not critique or evaluate a work, they do more than describe it. A good informative abstract acts as a surrogate for the work itself. The writer presents and explains all the main arguments and the important results.When preparing to write your abstract, keep the following key process elements in mind:
1.Reason for Writing , 2.Problem,  3.Methodology, 4.Results, 5.Implications. Steps for Writing Effective Abstracts:- Reread the article, paper, or report with the goal of abstracting in mind. - After you've finished rereading the article, paper, or report, write a rough draft without looking back at what you're abstracting.- Revise your rough draft to
- Print your final copy and read it again to catch any glitches that you find. After you finished then correct errors,drop unnecessary information and add important,read it again before you publish it. Good luck!
