Resumo de So Much For A Happy Ending...

So this is my desperate attempt to get rid of a writer''s block...

Writing a piece provocative enough to capture one''s mind...It has been stressing; it threatens to kill the ideas that I could possibly get to grasp completely in order to write something good. A threat because I am an over thinker, and what happens when you are an over thinker like myself is that you barely get to finish an idea, effect you get from the distress that comes with another overcoming idea, brainchild of my own. It is also a major rush that induces me to try harder; to focus into something that could become the faithful measure of my feelings and believes, if I only let it be.

As a result of all this inciting mental activity; I began to think if you would truly like it; or if you might think it is just another piece out of uncountable bad ones. That might be boring and with no appeal whatsoever.. There, most of my fears about writing, established in a couple of lines. I surely freed them fast. It is such a rush for me.

The truth is; I have no main topic or even so a topic at all, and my only alive impulse comes from this desire of being able to write something more than a song or a three lame pages piece.

I have my own reality about the whole writing activity; I have successfully wrote; dreams, songs, short stories, essays, reviews?u name it. I have done it but I did not wrote them without some starting point; having this much freedom on something is both exciting and overwhelming.

Strangely this "freedom" mentioned is self-generated since I have never tried to write something out of the blue. Consequently another thought came to me that?ll, this isn?ut of the blue! This is something I can create, facts that I have the opportunity to embellish, even lies I could make facts. After all, there is no book in this world 100% honest, or 100% fake. We can all face it together...

Even so and especially kiddy stories like Cinderella have been made out of both embellishment and reality. But both! The real thing on these particular Cinderella story is love and the reckless bitches obsessed with beauty since they do exist. It also has the embellishment I tell you; the slipper fantasy, I will try to get the idea here?nderella is the only girl in town who wears that shoe-size and she can actually walk with a crystal slipper without breaking it. As a plus for her I can say crystal does not assimilates any smell. What else; the pumpkin carriage 100% natural! She will get to the charming prince smelling like some kind of Pumpkin Gerber!

In addition, what about the fairy godmother with her "bidibabidibu" magical song and last but not least the prince charming dilemma. Moreover, this plot has become several movies; go figure; a story that everybody knows; you can find books in different versions and the big plus: it is short and simple. This plot of the prince picking a commoner for love is worn out, though it appears to work every single time.

Let us analyze this idea. all like the everlasting, all the way perfect love thing but I believe no one would like to have it. Can you imagine a life without an occasional fight, a relationship where you get to win all the time, or get to be pleased at every thing, a relationship based in perfection! It is surreal, and banal and I thank God every day for these facts of life. In my opinion, it would be boring, dull, and even insipid. Dare me saying is a relationship with absolutely no flavor.

Imagine a love where you have nothing to fight for, I do not even think they would have the trivial discussions that we have, you know... what movies to rent, what restaurant to go, which side of the bed to sleep in, even when to leave each other on the phone. Having those tiny arguments is essential, and it spices up the relationship. I bet Cinderella does not ignite this fire inside, nor does the charming prince, no spice, no fun. That is in my opinion of course.ugh it does not mean you should go pick a fight with your loved one just to spice all up. Think carefully! I am just saying fighting every once in a while for something trivial it is not a bad thing.

Anyway... this kind of plot works because when come to focus on the outdoor relationship this is not necessary; I mean... We do not give details on something that is supposed to be superficial. Yes, superficial is the word for it, as we will not get to see the prince fighting for Cinderella; or will we. I would say we really love to watch the film or read it in a book, because unconsciously we know we will not get to live it and because we already know it will be happy ending. I think is weird, is like someone telling you the whole movie before you see it... it just really kills! However, it does not kill the Cinderella plot since is almost immortal! It is alive! However, we do not want to live it, though, having a beautiful prince fighting to be your hero, caring, strong, good looking, rugged and manly... sorry ladies if I ignite your mind with this.

Now, facing the reality of the real world: when will the guys Cinderella will cook an awful meal that they would chew their arm instead of eating? realize that she looks not as good without the makeup, she could be the morning breath monster for what I know, also that after childbirth she will probably grow fat, and that her breast will be gradually affected by gravity, or probably she has a hideous laugh you guys didn?new about. No! Cinderella is perfect, she is young and attractive, with major sex-appeal, wonderful smile, caring, honest, and she is also humble!

Remember you don''t get to see if she''ll grow fat or if gravity will affect her, though I bet not, since is a cartoon!, you will never see her cook because she has a maid at the castle, and they won''t be fighting about the rent of movies either of course in medieval times there was no Blockbuster. Hey, maybe they will fight for choosing the kids name... forget about it, surely if a boy is born will have his fathers, and if not and is a girl the mothers. There are no phones in the kingdom so the calls are no problem, and about which side of the bed... machismo prevailed on medieval times so he will get to choose the side he wants. As you can see, they will not have trivial discussions about stupid things. That is if we still keep talking about the cartoon embellishment. And it is all because the story ends with the lame common and surreal phrase, "They lived happily ever after" truly is so much for a happy ending. I would say it is hardly an ending. Reality check guys... I''m not saying your Cinderella will have these "qualities" mentioned before, or that it happens in all cases. I''m just saying it exists, and there?o such thing as the perfect package. The same goes to us the girls and the prince charming idea...

Remember that I''m girl therefore I know more nasty facts about the non prince charming than Cinderella don''t call me feminist, and not all the guys have these features. I am just a girl, and I love you guys! Please don''t get mad at me for what I''m about to perform in your reading.

Well, as much as I hate this... here it goes. Guys fart (more), they are not nice all the time unless of course they want something else (sugar?), they usually don''t uddle after sex, their beards itch when making out, they also grow fat, lazy, most of them dirty, cheaters, or just with nasty vices. Maybe they will be pet haters, couch potatoes, or just the scary type of weird, some of them have no ambitions therefore they fall in the percentage of life losers -most likely-. You know they could be the type that slurps the soup at the fine restaurant on Valentine, or that kiss you after eating Doritos! Of course I''m heading to extremes, and exaggerating a little but I affirm this happens sometimes. I bet I am now a bitch for writing this. Well I am sorry. Maybe I can help
