The star of the fiction novel Michael Brock was a rising young and ambitious lawyer who was at the top of his carreer before the unthinkable twist of fate. Brock left home a happy man even though he hwas not ain good terms with his live-in lover. As he enters the elevator to take him to his floor, a man with rubber boots stepped inbehind him. He had on him a trench coat which fell to his knees and smelled of cheap wine. His first reaction was the man does not belong here.
Subsequent chapters deal exclusively on the dramatic events as the man walked into the conference hall while the lawyers were in a meeting where he closed the door and fired a warning shot that he meant business.
After series of threats by criminal, he had human feelings after all. He made Mr. Brock the negotiator between him and the SWAT team: an American rapid response organ to crisis.
unfortunately, he played into their hands as in an attempt to peep if the food he ordered had been brought when suddenly a shot rang out and brought his brains out. The slimy thing splashed on the face of Michael Brock as teh both fell down due to the impact.
He (DeVon) died on the spot but Brock went unscathed.
