This is a poetry book written by me. I am the first engineer of my university to publish a book length of poetry. I completed my engineering in 2004 and published this book right after my completion of engineering. It is published by Samkaleen Prakashan in New Delhi.
There are 70 poems in the book in total and reflect varied mood of my nature when i was doing my engineering. The theme of the poems vary from nature, philosophy, psychology, and some mechanical touch is also there in it.
Some of the poems from this book have been awarded diplomas and accepted for publication in internation magazines in various countries like Canada, US, UK, and South Africa, etc. One of the poem "Learn to Smile" was awarded a diploma in international competition held by Ayreshire society of poets and artists, Scotland. There is a poem "I See Ye": this poem has been accepted for publication in number of international magazines and books, and remains one of the most cherished one in the collection. There are many other poems that are set to the tone of this poem, and i hope people who like this poem, would also like them.
When i published the book, i sent it to the president of our country, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. He responded with a letter that he has read the book and liked the poem "The mother-the thing". It was a great boost for my confidence and my college people were also overjoyed. My teachers were really happy that i was able to publish a book at such a young age, and more so because of my engineering background.
Though the poems are not structured according to any rhyming scheme, as i am not taught how to write in it, but i hope people would love to read these poems and would enjoy the book very much.
