Who are your top ten favorite programs?

Coaches! 101, and Directv's Fan-stats selected these programs as TheFan's top programs. Starting from 10 to one.

10: New Providence; They have had a great run in the last 30 years with 22 playoff appearances. NPHS mange to compile a playoff record of 26 wins and 18 loses. This same program has been to the State Sectional Finals 17 times, and won an impressive 5 titles. Head Coach, Frank Bottone, who is the wiz-kid in single set D-wingT; had a trying season this year with a 35-0 defeat coming from Hoboken High. He alSo manged to gain his 300 victory, with a 6-4 record.

9: North Bergen; This program has the everlasting Vincent Ascolese. He has revived North Bergen with over 300 wins, and 27 playoff appearances. Vin, also coached this team to a 21-22 playoff record. North Bergen has been in group 4 for ever. They are considered the Elite of Group 4 with 15 appearances in the sectional finals. Vin has 6 titles with North Bergen, and on his way he broke some hearts, also getting his heart broken. The 1990, 3 point victory over Hoboken broke some hearts. He had his heart broken against Hackensack, where people make the claim; the twelfth man sealed the win.

8: Glen Rock; Even though the program loses coaches, these kids play. Glen Rock has the highest winning percentages in NJ history. They piled up a .828 winning percentage on a 25-6 record in the playoffs. They have been able to get to the sectional finals 8 times, and winning it 8 times.

7: Pope John XXIII, this program's history should place them in the top five. The only problem is can the new staff live up to the legacy of the school. Pope John, has 42 wins 11 defeats, on 26 appearances with 18 titles.

6: Manasquan: There is no question that this program has been electrifying over the last five years. Head Coach, Vic Kubu as his team 23-1 in the past two years. They are back to back champs in group 2 central. This program has a 34-14 record with 22 playoff appearances and getting to the sectional finals 14 times, plus 9 titles. Vic has brought respect to the program with rankings by the starledgar, and maxprep, which go as high as #2 in the state of New Jersey.

5: Hoboken; It started with Edward Stinson. He revamped the program in 1992. Hoboken in that span have 7 titles in three different groups. Stinson passed the torch to long time assistant Louis Taglieri Jr. Who has helped Stinson gain three peats in the 90's with 63 out 64 wins to become team of the decade by newark starledgar. Coach Tag, took over and posted 21-3 record while restoring Hoboken pride. Hoboken in that span has 25 playoff appearances, and 15 straight years of making the playoffs. Hoboken has won 8 sectional titles in school history in every group NJ has, Hoboken is NJ history.

4: Paulsboro; When you think of records, this program is in the top five for every category. They have the longest game winning streak at 65. They have the second best winning percentages, while creating a 42-10 playoff record with 16 titles.

3: Tony Karcich, This guy is a program by himself. He is responsible for part of the 13 state championship banners at Bergen Catholic. He is responsible for most of the titles won at St. Joe's (Mont.) He alone has won more titles in so many programs that placing a school would not work. So Bergen Catholic/St. Joe's (Mont) is NJ history because of TK.

2: St Joe's (Hamm.); Head Coach Paul Sacco, has a vision of breaking every NJ coaching record. He is St. Joe's (hamm) vikings. He has coached his program to an impressive 18 state titles, where he had 8 straight titles. This broke the NJ record, and made them Coaches! 101 emerging team of the decade. When you talk about numbers, Sacco has a 30-10 record on 24 appearances in the finals.

1: Greg Toal and Steve Antonucci.
For Greg Toal his legacy his a program changer. Toal coached at River Dell, Saddle Brook, Hackensack, and Don Bosco. He has been to Tony Karcich. He has made Don Bosco a national power with 3 of the school's 6 titles. He has 2 titles while coaching at River Dell. Toal has an impressive 5 titles in Hackensack, while making them the elite of yesterday's elite section North Group 4. The new elite section is Par-4, and Don Bosco.

Steve Antonucci; well he has 4 straight sectional titles. Middletown South is 2000's version of Hoboken. MTS Eagles have piled up 17 playoff appearances; 32 wins on 9 defeats, while gathering 9 titles on 15 years in the sectional finals.
