I was about to enjoy my rest considering I had been walking for 2 hours across
the park and just as I sat down the Tennants link magazine ,was dropped through the
mail box ... information as follows ..
A day in the life of a resident where residents got together to show us
all how to win the cheque! Luck be a lady tonight, and as they say in
the popular song ... lets keep the party polite ...
Each day I go for a dander through City Centre of Southampton I note
with interest the increase in high rise blocks so here we have an article
about towers to receive check ups and engineers will visit to ensure safe
environment for all tenants ... it must be wonderful to be an owner
or one of Tony Blair''s Millionaires Club ... still thats for the future ...
Welfare rights and debts ... do you know there is not a moment in
Southampton but somebody or other feels it necessary to tell me
their troubles from their debts to health problems, social housing
conditioning in life ... weight problems. when will I be released
from it all .. as soon as ... you win first prize in the poetry
competition ... and on and on ..
Immigrants and refugees the facts ... well I did offer to teach
English to said personnel but why am I waiting!!! for the pay I guess!
Safety matters ... well I carry an image in my mind of being
tightly locked up every night in my cell and nobody can get to me ..
only my Guardian Angel or God! ..
Enjoy the summer and splash a way to a fun filled day in summer
here in Southampton UK.
