This book is a fundamental piece of the Latin-American literature of the 20th century and, especially, of the so called magic Realism. Gabriel García Márquez formed a part of the Latin-American boom and always he has been recognized as a vilifier and criticize of the dictatorships in the continent. Hundred years of, solitude, in its moment, it was the most important owed to  the overflow of fantasy mixed with the reality. Úrsula is the personage who typifies the reality of the mothers in Latin America. Defender of her family and supplier of the necessary thing. Úrsula is superstitious and very generous. Jose Arcadio: secondary personage.  full of life and anxiously to know the world. Kind and a bit brute. The Colonel Aureliano: principal personage. Aureliano is silent and retiring in his youth and, later, seasoned and violent. Disabled for the love and to express his feelings. Amaranta: secondary personage. Amaranta grew removed from the fondness of her mother and from Jose''s attention arcadio Buendía. There lived her life embittered by the love not corresponded of Pietro Crespi. She lived tormented by the passion that he was sorry for her nephew and not to be able to trust in nobody. Aureliano Segundo: principal personage. She lives always worried by the appearances. Pilar Ternera: Pilar is a piece founder of the generations of the Buendía. Provedora of consolation and very generous. Petra Cotes: principal personage. Petra always was the faithful lover of Aureliano Segundo. Of good heart and flood of passion and energy. Aureliano: principal personage. Aureliano shares the tastes for the silverwork as all the aurelianos. Ensimismado and innocent. Amaranta Úrsula: principal personage. A woman happy and full of life. Amaranta Úrsula is the one that manages to change the destiny of the Buendía. He lives and dies happy without any glimpse of bitterness or loneliness. Argue: This one is the history of the Buendía, the race that was condemned to live hundred years of loneliness. The Buendía could rest in peace when there was born the first creature procreated in the real love. Jose Arcadio Buendía and his wife, Úrsula, are the procreators of Jose Arcadio Buendía, the major son, and Aureliano Buendía, who later would be colonel and Amaranta, minor; of these three there will be born four generations who, in a cyclical way as the history, will be relating and procreating among them themselves, except some exceptions.This one family accompanied by other spouses, women and children, cross the saw and in a desert place run aground in the Carib they found the village of Macondo; the people is a witness of the happiness, of the sadness, of the fortune and of theisery where worth, during mas of hundred years, the Buendía lived. Guided by the amazement and the imaginaon, Jose Arcadio Buendía trastorna with the magic and the inventionthat Melquíades takes Macondo every year with the circus. Jose Arcadio''s obsession for the companies more unimaginable and his nearby relation with the gypsy, Melquíades, they are the constants that they were marking and they will confirm their destiny and that of all his family.The strongest and destructive relations of passion - amor-odio will be given in to pass of four generations impregnated by the superstition, the fear, the religion, the loneliness, the innocence and the solidarity. The names are perpetuated from generation to generation as the carnal(full) bows among the cousins and the aunts, the brothers and the grandmothers, etc.. For the life of the Buendía we know the history of Macondo, of the Carib and of America. The devastation of the land with the fever of the bananas, a civil war, the creation of the unions. The Aurelianos are thoughtful, pensive and combative; The Jose Arcadios are parranderos, obsessive, and, madmen, are all.Of these personal histories that construct the great  history there are born and live the strangest, magic and desolate beings that the world there before seen(dressed).
