It starts with a scary dream for Harry. Then Harry and friends go to see the 1422nd Quidditch World Cup finals with the Bulgarians and the Ireland and Ireland wins, but Krum ,a player of the Bulgarians. Then they go back to Hogwarts School for their fourth year of Magic. Their principal Dumbledore explains about the tournament in which only 3 students from three schools could participate, the ?Triwizards Tournament?. Only a person aged 17 above can only participate in it. This tournament has 3 tasks to do. The ?Goblet of fire? will select the champions of each school. The champions are from, Drumstrung ? Victor Krum, Beauxbaton ? Fleur Delacour, Hogwarts- Cedric Deggory, but some other person among the professors put Harry?s name into the fire and he was selected .However everybody had to agree with him. The1st task was to take a golden egg without being killed by a dragon. There was a Yule Ball in the X?mas eve that is the dance. The 2nd task was to save someone they love. The 3rd task was to get in through a maze and get the cup they are fighting for. Harry and Cedric both gets together as Harry had helped Cedric in many ways. Instead of getting to Dumbledore they reached to Voldemort. As he had lost his body with Harry?s mother?s love magic he can gain it back by getting father?s bone, servant?s flesh and enemy?s blood. He does it and gains back his body. Then there was a battle between Harry and Voldemort , Harry escapes him with the help of a ?Portkey?,it took him back to Hogwarts . The cup was a Portkey . Then he discovered who put Harry?s name in the fire,it was Mr. Moody, he was a man of Lord Voldemort and then also he was in the side of Harry .
