Location ?ory situated in the south of Upper Silesia, has about 63 thousand inhabitants. Town is situated on the crossing of the important transport routes. The State Road no 81 from Wis?a and Cieszyn to Katowice passes through ?ory and so does the province east-west road no 935. Owing to good transport routes you can easily get to most cities of the Katowice agglomeration as well as holiday and sports resorts like Bielsko-Bia?a, Szczyrk and Wis?a. It is not far to the border with Czech Republic. In a few years an A1 North-South European motorway will run through ?ory. Two junctions will connect it with the local roads.
