The Two Towers

The second part of "The Lord of the Rings" is called "The TwoTowers. The heroes of this fascinating fairy tale, the four Hobbits - Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin, together with the Dwarf Gimly, the Elf Logolas, Aragorn and the conjurer Gandalf are forced by circumstance to continue their journey seperately. Frodo and Sam, having parted company, lave for the land of Mordor, the realm of the evil master Sauron, who has long ago lost the Ring of power and now wants it back. They find themselves in many a tight spot, including a meeting with the perfidious and evil Smeagol-Gollum, who also covets the ring,"his Precious". Merry and Pippin are abducted by the Orcs, when with great speed head for Isengard. To mitigate the disaster of the company`s break-up, Aragon, Gimly and Legolas follow them and try to save the lives of the two Hobbits. As the plot unfolds, they are all moving towards the unknown, where they will strike new friendships, look into the eyes of fresh dangers and meet an old friend they thouht was gone...
