Retrospective Of Actor Park Jung-hun In New York

The Jacob Burns Film Center in New York will hold a mini-retrospective of Korean actor Park Jung-hun?s films from April 11 to 17.
On its Web site, the Burns Film Center said Park will also conduct two question-and-answer sessions with fans on April 11 and 15. He will be accompanied by legendary director Jonathan Demme, who worked with Park in the 2002 film ``The Truth About Charlie.?
``I am enormously thrilled and proud to be part of this (retrospective) series and I can''t wait to see some of the films I?ve missed. Once again, the Burns Film Center is up front with the hippest movie programming in the country,? Demme was quoted as saying by the Burns Film Center.
The Burns Film Center also noted Park?s films are ``part of the huge South Korean cultural rebirth that''s stretched its influence across the continent.?
The retrospective of Park?s films opens on April 11 with the screening of his latest film ``Radio Star.? His other films such as ``The Truth About Charlie,? ``Two Guys,? ``Nowhere to Hide,? ``My Love, My Bride? and ``Rules of the Game? will also be screened through April 17.
Korean actor Ahn Sung-ki, who co-starred with Park in ``Radio Star,? ``Nowhere to Hide? director Lee Myung-se and SM Entertainment head Lee Soo-man will attend the event.
Park is set to Star in another Hollywood film ``Bibimbap,? a romantic comedy, this year. Peter Saraf, who also produced the hit ``Little Miss Sunshine,? will produce the movie.
The Jacob Burns Film Center (www.burnsfilmcenter.org) is a nonprofit cultural arts center in Pleasantville, New York, 30 miles north of Manhattan.
