Quevedo is a Spanish author who if became world-wide known for the fact of being one of the critical greaters of the society, the culture and the Spanish politics of century 17. Its books currently have little repercussion and little knowledge enjoys in a scope of the philosophy and literature, but nor always it was thus. Its texts, stuffed of sarcastic comments, mescladas the true professions of faith, constitute a true masterpiece of the Latin style of satirical writing. In the Dreams we will go to find a book that it invests the customs of the Spanish society of its time, remaining however as one criticizes guarded, since the author tells a onírica epoéia, where the main personage covers the purgatório and the hell in a ?dream?, hypocritical and malicious Dream this where throughout the narrative, they at the time go being shown personages of the society receiving on the part from God (and of the Devil) jousts vile punishments for its practical. In this critical one under the alegórica form, nobody saved age, nor religious the hypocritical ones, nor the corrupt politicians, nor the middle class of the traders and small involved noblemen in its practical interesseiras as arranged marriages. Unnecessary to say that therefore Quevedo was to the cursed and pursued time, but also the fact must be standed out of that, although these persecutions, grafou for the posterity its name, with the style and the ability of the great geniuses of the writing.
