National Service Richard Eyre
(Richard Eyre)
Spent a happy night reflecting on how good it was to be back in full time teaching riding the waves just as before, and chanced upon a book that reminded me of my other career in Computing ... my Italian friend was a Graphics Expert and as a result in childhood I developed this skill as well. I thought no more of it and continued on my merry way into Computing with a BIG American Company ... they in turn introduced me another man in my life known as BossMan and he like Richard Eyre was keen to discuss his time doing National Service. I had done a bit of service myself for Queen and Country but held it up as a big secret and rarely could I be pushed into those discussions. This book talks quite openly about Liam Neeson an Irish actor very famous in this Country and dare I say it, like myself known for his good looks .. I won a Glamour competition recently in London UK. He crosses poetry with prose, drama with book-keeping and winds his way in and out of topics on Brian Friel playwright Ireland, Trevor Nunn Director, National Theatre London, Wilfred Owen English Poet, and then an anonymous character called Fake Nothing ... its odd how, even today the humour is implanted within the sub text of his most interesting book. Professors of Drama look out because herein is a challenge to your very existence! Happy days! Keep on reading ... excellent stuff!
