Prani kiya tera kiya mera - oh dear friend, please explain me, what is yours and what is mine in this creation? Jasai tarwar pankh basera - A person runs his strength until he has strong wings, he flies: Rahao: Guru Ravidass takes a decision - Rakho Kandh usario nivan - We concrete the basement before to build a wall: Sadhe tin hath teri siwan: But a human body needs only three and half, (an Indian pattern for measurement) hands only for his grave: Banke Bal pag sir deri: The beautiful hair and a beautiful turban: ih tan hoigo bhasam ki dheri: And this body remains a heap of ashes after it burns: Uchai mandar sundar Nari: A (mansion) big building and a lovely woman lives behind: Ram Naam bin baji hari: You lost your life without to trust in a true God. Meri jat kamini, pat kamini, ochha janam hamara. But my caste is degraded, my respect is degraded, my life is humiliated: Tum sarnagat raja ram chand: You believed that your high standard living is the cause of your worshipping for King of Ram Chand and my position is also the curse of King Ram Chand, Guru Ravidass says: then why your body and cremation system is same, your body is as me, when you die, you have same heap of ashes if they burn you, if they buried you your tomb needs three and half hands land. When you shall die you also not taking your buildings and women as mine, then what is a benefit to worship such a lord Rama that never introduced a different standard for living.(Sorath) This writing of Sri Guru Ravidass ji?s is complied in Raga Sorath in Sri Guru Garanth Saheb ji by the fifth Guru of Sikh?s Guru Arjan Dev JI.
