A Body To Die For
(KATE WHITE)

Publicidade
Life hasn''t
been the same for Bailey Weggins since she solved the murder of her boss''
nanny. Her ex-boyfriend, her job as a true crime writer for Gloss
magazine, and the fast pace of New
York City are under her skin. Bailey goes to an inn
and spa in a quaint New England town for some
rest and relaxation.

 She arrives
in time to greet Danny, her friend and owner of the spa. After an evening
massage, Bailey retreats to the inn. When she returns to the spa later that
night to retrieve a forgotten watch, Bailey discovers a body.

 The victim
is a masseuse employed at the spa. Once again, Bailey is in the middle of a
murder mystery. There are plenty of suspects, just as many motives and A
body to Die For.

 Kate Smith''s
second novel brings back cool cucumber Bailey Weggins for another light
mystery. The real-life editor in chief of Cosmopolitan centers this tale around
the latest trends in massage therapy in a quaint New
England spa. Bailey is just as down-to-earth as she was in If
Looks Could Kill. Generous doses of humor keep the mystery on an entertaining
level.

 White''s
first novel was set in and around the fashion industry, with the heroine
employed at the fictitious Gloss magazine. This time around, Bailey has
a single scene in her office and the charm of the big city is left behind.

 A Body to
Die For is a great
vacation read. Certain elements are predictable, but White''s storytelling
skills maintain reader interest. Bailey Weggins is a great heroine and her
mystery misadventures make this novel a great escapist read.
