Are you Afraid of the Dark? is a book that spells suspense from the word "go".The authorstarts off by describing how three people are killed in different parts of the world. As you read on, the background of each of the three emerges. Police investigations reveal a connecting thread to all three murders, that all three men worked for a large conglomerate, and were scientists working on asecret project, known only to a chosen few/. Two women, wives of the deceased, meet the CEO, of the conglomerate at his office, not knowing his evil plans.
The story narrates how these two women join forces toexcavate the hidden plot that killed their husbands,and how its very knowledgecould kill them now. .Their different personalities clash first, but soon they realise that they are in this together, for better or worse.
The book revolves around the various escapades of these two women, their brush with death,and how they end up rescuing each other many times in their quest for the truth.
A masterful narrative,resulting in an un-put- downable book. I read it again, after a really long time,and iI still found it interesting.
