El Dorado

Maria Lopez is a forty two year old woman who is not able to give a turn to the monotony which characterizes her daily life. She has no stable partner, she lives in Madrid and she works like a make up artist in the English Court, but neither that, nor the suppers with her friends help to fill that depressing sensation of emptiness that she has inside. One day a package arrives for her from Venezuela, and from that moment on her life changes for ever. Then starts an intense adventure which will take the protagonist in search of her father, disappeared for twenty years, and of the fabulous golden city of el Dorado. Does this city really exist, or is only the imagination of men? Will Maria get to see her father again, or will her life become an even deeper drama? All these questions will accompany the reader in an exciting and at the same time magical trip, until running into a disconcerting discovery. At the end there will be no doubt: madness is the fuel of the soul in our trip towards God.
