The Ultimate Truth
(Anthony Lawrence)
A Death Shatters my being, leaves me utterly bewildered. Though he may not be my friend neither any of my acquaintances, but there was a relation unnamed. He walked the same earth as I. He spoke the same language. He ate the same food. I might have seen him in the marketplace, or in a wedding ceremony, But now I?ll see him no more. His once lively body is now a rotting carcass left to waste away into nothingness. For sometime he will be missed and remembered by his people. His portrait with flowers will be hung in the living room. Slowly but surely tears will fade away. With that, his existence from this earth will finally end leaving no trace that he existed once.
